Overview

This tem's unique typing and strong movepool make its ally options as varied as its TV spread choices. Both Toxic and Fire typing have strong synergy options that make it a tempting ally, and its great movepool tempts it to ally with even more potential teammates. This guy hits hard out of the gate, and its high attack stat lets it effectively bulk up more than one might initially expect. With great ally potential and hard-to-avoid damage output, Hazrat is flexible and effective at its job. Of course, it still easily falls to its weaknesses and without water allies, it lacks priority moves. Low base defenses are still low base defenses, so when heavily pressured, Hazrat should crumple sooner than later.

Contagious took a hard hit in 0.9.4, but Hazrat is still a prime threat with access to two of the best no-hold STAB attacks in its respective typings in Wastewater and Lava Wave. Combined with Heat Up, Hazrat is a fearsome sweeper once it gets going.

These techniques all cost quite a bit of stamina, so Fake Beard or Bait help tremendously as gears. Hazrat is insanely useful against slow teams, and a lot of those teams use Doom, so Purgation can be a huge boon here as well. Rush is an option to polish off weakened targets, if that's more your fancy, and you can also try Embers or Toxin Shower to give Hazrat a bit of defensive utility.

This is a speedy Hazrat. This is just East talking from his personal prefence, here, but Shuine's Horn can be a very useful option on Hazrat to flip its matchup against some earths, digitals and fires, in exchange for a poorer matchup into waters and lower overall damage on Wastewater.

Hazrat really, really hates earth tems, so waters like Ukama and Wiplump help it out, as does Vulffy, who can control and eliminate those earth targets. Electrics can also help with the Wind weakness.
